Kenya men’s beach handball team is gearing for this year’s Africa Beach Games set for June 23-30 in Hammamet, Tunisia.
The Titus Kesekwa coached side is training in Malindi for the continental showpiece where a team of ten players, selected after the Kenya Beach Games is training Buntwani Waterpark in Malindi.
Kenya will face Morocco and Zambia in Group A. The opening match will see the 2019 bronze medalists Morocco go head-to-head with Kenya in a highly anticipated encounter on June 24.
In Group B Togo, Nigeria and Libya will battle it out while hosts Tunisia will entertain Algeria and Mali in Group C.
The top teams from each group, along with the best runner-up, will advance to the semifinals on the afternoon of the first day of the competition. The final will be played on June 26.
