Former Scrabble Kenya chairman Bernard Amuke has taken an early lead at day one of the the East, Central and Southern Africa Scrabble Championships (ECASA) in Nairobi, Kenya.
Amuke won 8 out of 9 games played today ahead of tomorrow’s day two before Sunday’s final in a three day extravaganza at Trademark Hotel as Kenya seeks to defend the title.
He led fellow Kenyan Michael Gongolo, David Kimani and Allan Oyende as Ugandan Lawrence Onyoin came in 5th position.
