Football and volleyball powerhouse St. Anthony’s High school Kitale and Cheptil matched into the semifinals of the ongoing Rift Valley Secondary schools Sports Association in Baringo High school.
Trans Nzoia based Kitale worked extra hard to edge out stubborn Wareng High school from Uasin Gishu with a solitary goal courtesy Jacob Onyango in boys under 20 soccer encounter.
The defending champions will be meeting with Laiser Hill from Kajiado who beat Chebilat in the quarterfinals.
But it was an easy win for Cheptil in girls’ volleyball, winning in straight sets of 25-08, 25-10 and 25-5.
