Felix Boera and Faith Bett were crowned the champions of 5th and last leg of Nyamira Great Run hed today in Nyamira County.
Boera, a Form Four student Keberesi won the men’s 10km title in 28:30.00 ahead of Kenya Defence Forces’ Stephen Arita to second when he clocked 28:40.34 and Richard Atuya completed the podium in 29:00.00.
Former Mully Half marathon champion Sammy Nyokaye was 4th timing 29:74.00 and Evans Mayaka (29:80.00) and Aburi Morang’a (30:00.45).
In women’s 10km, Bett won in 33:34.00 beating Teresa Omosa to second place in 34:06.00 while Nancy Kerage closed the podium places in 35:05.00.
Christine Oigo (35:16.00) was fourth, followed by Gladys Otero (35:40.00) and Lydiah Nyansikera (35:50.00).
