Brian Komen seal 1,500m gold and Kurgat win bronze in Douala

Africa Games 1,500m champion Brian Komen won gold for Kenya at the concluded Africa Senior Athletics championships in Douala, Cameroon.

This was the 4^th gold medal for the country in the 1,500m after clocking 3:33.95 ahead of Djibouti’s Ayanleh Abdi Abdillahi who timed 3:36.24 to collect silver and another Kenyan Boaz Kiprugut settling for bronze in 3:37.25.
