Vihiga Bullets dislodged Kenya Police to gain an automatic premier league promotion following the conclusion of National Super league (NSL) today.
Bullets, who enterd in today’s match in third position after tying with Police in points but the later enjoying goal difference beat visiting Kibera Black Stars 2-0 at the Bukhungu Stadium.
The win propelled them to 64 points from 37 matches and grab the second automatic promotion slot after champions Talanta who signed off well with 72 points after a walk over against Sony Sugar failed to honour their last match at GEMS Cambridge.
Bullets’ main rivals Police beat Migori Youth 2-1 away in Migori to finish third and secure a promotion/relegation playoff tie against Vihiga United, who finished 16th in the premier league.
