CAF starts investigating Gor over Napsa scuffle

Kenya premier league champions Gor Mahia may face displinary action after African football governing body CAF wrote a letter seeking explanation on the players’ behaviors during the CAF Confederations Cup playoffs.

Gor were involved in a scuffle after drawing 2-2 against Zambian side Napsa Stars and eliminated from the competition.

According to the letter Caf, Gor the match officials raised complaints of violence and abusive language against them by Gor captain Kenneth Muguna and shot stopper Boniface Oluoch.

Subsequently CAF has given Gor five days, until March 5 to respond to the allegations as they await a possible disciplinary action against the aforementioned players and possibly the club.
