Two time world under 20 3,000m steeplechase champion Cellphine Chespol is among the five finalists for the 2018 Female Rising Star Award.
The reigning Africa cross country champion won silver at the Commonwealth games in 3,000m steeplechase held in Gold Coast, Australia.
The World Under 20 Championships 3,000m Championship Record of 9:12.79 will face off with Meseret Belete from Ethiopia among others as the winner will be announced at the IAAF Athletics Awards gala to be held in Monaco on December 4 this year.
