Defending champion Baldev Singh Chager will lead other top drivers to battle for top positions at this Sunday’s Guru Nanak Rally in Voi, Taita Taveta County where drivers will cover 230km.
As the last circuit in the Kenya National Rally Championships (KNRC), the event, which will start at the Voi Wildlife Lodge will conclude at Teita Estates has attracted has attracted top drivers led by Chager, veteran Ian Duncan, series leader Jasmeet Chana on 209 points will also be in action as well as second placed Karan Patel (200) and Kush Patel third on 86 points.
Traditionally, the Guru Nanak has traversed terrains adjacent to Nairobi but this year’s 9th event of the circuit will not.
Four stages will be repeated to make a competitive run of eight stages. The repeat run of the Charcoal Stage (21.30km) will serve as the Power Stage where the fastest three drivers will earn additional 3-2-1 points in the championship.
