Champions General Service Unit (GSU) and Kenya Pipeline Company (KPC) in men and women respectively, will be seeking to defend their title after qualifying into the quarterfinals.
The conclusion of Kenya Volleyball Federation (KVF) national league, has paved way for the play off that will be staged in Mombasa from Friday, June 26 to Sunday, June 28, 2026.
Men fixtures shall be played at the Makande Gymnasium, while the women’s tournament will be staged at the Aga Khan Academy.
This year, the federation released the fixtures and venues for the quarterfinal playoffs after introducing a new format and a change of system to this year’s championship.
In a departure from previous seasons where the top four teams advanced directly to a round-robin final, this season introduces a thrilling top-eight knockout style.
Teams will clash in a best-of-three quarterfinal series, meaning a club must secure two victories to book its ticket to the semifinals.
In men, holders GSU will battle Kenya Ports Authority (KPA), Kenya Airport Police Unit (KAPU), Equity Bank, Kenya Defence Forces (KDF), Chema and Trailblazers.
While women champions KPC will take on Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI), Nairobi Prisons, KCB, Kenya Defence Forces (KDF).
