Nakuru-10-a-side rugby champions Homeboyz registered wins in pool A matches to progress into the quarterfinals of the tournament at Nakuru Athletics Club.
The champions started on a high winning 15-0 against Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology (JKUAY) Cougars in pool A and a 12-07 over Nondescript.
In other pool A matches, Impala Saracens edged nondescript 17-0 and 34-0 against Cougars.
Kenya Commercial Bank (KCB) beat Egerton side 22-0 and a 22-0 against Kiambu as Masinde Muliro University of Science and technology (MMUST) defeated Kiambu 24-0 and 22-0 against Egerton in pool B.
