”The team is in good shape as the girls are raring to go. Over the past few weeks, we have trained very well, and it is my hope that we will begin on the right footing,” he added.

Captain Edith Wisa will lead the 18-player team that departs for Nandi County Wednesday morning.

Some of the top names that will feature include Juliana Namutira, Esther Mutinda, Mercy Moim, Shirleen Maiywa, and Mariam Musa.

Munala will be assisted by David Kinga while Moses Kimani will manage the team. Eunice Mayo will take the role of trainer and the strength and conditioning coach will be Esau Otieno.

The bankers will also participate in the Heroes Community tournament organised by the Kenya Volleyball Federation (KVF) at the same venue on November 4-5.
