Defending champion Shujaa, the national rugby sevens team had a perfect start at the Rugby Africa sevens championships cum Commonwealth Games trials in Kampala, Uganda.
After rallying from behind to beat stubborn Zimbabwe, they also beat Senegal and Namibia in pool D to match into the semifinals set for Sunday.
In the first match, Kenya applied force to beat sturbborn Zimbabwe 24-19, beat Senegal 19-0 and 33-07 against Namibia and will be facing off against Madagascar at 10.06am tomorrow in the last pool match where pool number one and two will qualify for the semifinals.
And the winners of the tournament will represent Africa at the Commonwealth Games that will be held in Birmingham, England.
