Champions Menengai Oilers will be facing off with Nondescript at the 2025 Impala Floodlit final set for Saturday November 8th 2025 at the Impala grounds, Nairobi.
Oilers edged out Kenyatta University side Blak Blad 42-21 to book for the back to back final against Nondies who defeated hosts Impala Saracens 25-19 in the Ngong Road derby.
This was the second time in a row that Oilers are beating Blad in the semis after last year’s 22-6 victory.
Unconverted Timothy Okwemba’s try was fast responded by Blad’s penalty that Enock Oduor responded for 5-3 but Samuel Were made it 10-3 then Blad’s penalty for 10-6 as Were struck again with a converted try for 17-6.
Oilers’ Elkens Musonye converted his try for 24-6 then Oduor converted from the penalty for Blad, adding to 24-9 into break.
On resumption, Oilers made it 29-9 as Blad made the first unconverted try for 29-14.
In the first match of the day at the same venue, Nondies managed a slim win against saries at 25-19 to sail to the final.
