Champions Police hold leaders Gor in KPL battle for title

Defending champions Kenya Police managed to hold on the league leaders Gor Mahia for a draw as the chase is on for the Kenya Premier League title played yesterday at the Nyayo National Stadium.

Brian Chonjo scored first in the 22nd minute for Police before Ebenezer Assifuah leveld for Gor in the 87th minute for a 1-1 draw at the final whistle.

Leaders Gor will be chasing their 22nd title after winning 21 titles and with the draw, Gor still leads on 65 points after playing 31 matches.

AFC Leopards remains second on 58 points after playing 30 matches while Police have 52 points on 31 matches.
