Fresh from leading Kenya at the Harambee Stars and Gor Mahia goalkeeper Bryne Omondi has been named the Sports Journalists Association of Kenya (SJAK) Sports Personality of the Month for August.
Omondi earned the accolade following his performances at the concluded African Nations Championship (CHAN) with Kenya reaching quarterfinals and eliminated by Madagascar.
The former Bandari player was named Man of the Match between the sticks, earning him 65-inch LG television and a personalized trophy.
With the Kenya Premier League 2025/26 season kicking off in four days on Friday, September 19, Omondi has now shifted his focus to club duty with record league champions Gor Mahia.
