Mildred Cheche has replaced Beldine Odemba as the Junior Starlets, the national under 17 women’s team head cocah.
The Football Kenya Federation (FKF) made the changes ahead of the 2024 FIFA U17 World Cup second-round qualifiers.
Cheche, who has been serving as the assistant coach of the Harambee Starlets the women’s national football team, and the Rising Starlets, Odemba.
Odemba will now focus on Harambee Starlets duties only.
Both coaches are CAF B license holders, a testament to their professional qualifications and understanding of the game at a high level.
Their immediate challenge lies in the upcoming 2024 FIFA U17 World Cup second-round qualifiers.
The Junior Starlets are set to face a formidable opponent in DR Congo, with the first leg away on Sunday 4 February and the return leg at home on exactly a week later
