Kenyan born turned Romanian Joan Chelimo Melly and Ethiopian Mosinet Geremew Bayih ran with course records at today’s Seoul marathon held in korea.
Chelimo, who shifted her allegiance to Romania won the women title in 2:18.04 beating Ethiopian Satune Asefa Kemede (2:18.12) and Kenyan born turned bahrainian Eunice Chebichii Chuma ti third timing 2:20.02.
In men, the world marathon silver medalist Geremew won the title with another course record in 2:04.43 beating compatriot Herpasa Negaya Kitesa (2:04.49) to second and Brazilian Daniel Fereira do Nascimento (2:04.51) for third.
