Sharon Chepkemoi and Festus Kimorwo Kaptum were the winners in the 3,000m steeplechase and 5,000m at the 6th leg of Athletics Kenya Track and field event at the Ylinzi Sports Complex, Nairobi.
In women, Chepkemoi edged out namesake Diana Chepkemoi to win the 3,000m steeplechase women in 9:57.27 ahead of Diana with 9:58.97 as Aantasha Cheptoo Langat completed an all Lemotit training camp podium sweep in 10:11.39.
In 5,000m men, Sinonin’s Kimorwo won the title in 13:42.74 followed by Silas Senchura (13:44.95) and Pasanjo Kitonga coming third in 13:49.15.
