On Moi girls, Mercy Chepkorir and Ronald Kipkoech won the 5,000m girls and 3,000m boys respectively in the evening evens.
Chepkorir won the title in 17:03.8 after stunning Jane gati, who was in Kenya team at the world under 20 championships in Cali Colombia to second in 17:03.0 and Anderson’s faith Chepchumba sealing the podium at 17:15.07.
Kipkoech from Kalyanget won the title in 8:36.03 edging out Kosirai’s Victor Kiptum (8:48.9) to second and Boruma’s Boniface Samoita (9:03.8) to third position.
Dapash Raphael, Mary Nyaboke and Collins Kibiwott recorded wins.
Raphael won the title in 30:34.26 ahead of Sinonin’s Kevin Kiplagat (30:43.30) and Calvin Muthii from Irigathathe completing the podium after timing 31:01.43.
Representing Nyanza region from keberesi school, Nyaboke won the girls 1,500m title in 4:38.3 edging out Janet Jepkemboi of Kondabilet to second in 4:43.4 and Sarah Chepkoech (4:49.1) from Kabuiywa for third position.
For the boys’ 1,500m, Kosirai’s Kibiwott was victorious in 3:35.5.
Margaret Chacha Gati won the 5,000m title in 24:54.2 ahead of Doris Githae (26:56.09) and Makutano’s Mercyline Wanjala completing the podium 27:09.2.
