Reigning Boston Marathon champion Lawrence Cherono and New York City Marathon champion Joyciline Jepkosgei will be chasing Valencia marathon titles set for December in Spain.
In a press release, the race organisers said they will only involve elite athletes for the race on 6th December.
Chicago marathon winner, Cherono (2:04.06) will be facing off with Ethiopians Birhanu Legese (2:02:48), Kinde Atanaw (2:03:51) Kenyan Export to Turkey, Kaan Kigen Özbilen (2:04:16), World Champion Lelisa Desisa (2:04:45).
Others include world 10km record holder Rhonex Kipruto (26:24) Ugandan Jacob Kiplimo (26:41), Stephen Kiprop (58:42), Bedan Karoki (58:42), Bernard Ngeno (59:07), Alexander Mutiso (59:09), Julien Wanders (59:13), Philemon Kiplimo (59:28), Geoffrey Koech (59:36), Gabriel Geay (59:42), Alfred Barkach (59:46) and Kelvin Kiptum (59:53).
Making her second marathon in career, Jepkosgei (2:22.38) will be up against Ethiopians Azmera Abreha (2:18:33), Ruti Aga (2:18:34), Birhane Dibaba (2:18:35), Zeineba Yimer (2:19:28), Tigist Girma (2:19:52), Mare Dibaba (2:19:52), American Jordan Hasay (2:20:57) and Fancy Chemutai in her debut, Joan Chelimo (1:05:04) and Peres Jepchichir.
Others are Ethiopian Letensenbet Gidey (44:20), Sheila Chepkiruiand Senbere Teferi (1:05:32).
