“The virus has made life tough for many in the world and to this young innocent children, they have to enjoy lie just like others across the countery,” said Cherono.
The Boston marathon king said some of the young children here orphans and it is better their life.
Accompanied by the institutes’ director Joshua Mbithi said the foodstuffs are a blessing to the children and the society at large.
“We are happy that a champion has blessed us with food at this trying moment which has been hard for us. This will help us and we would also like to invite other well-wishers to support us feed this children,” said Mbithi
“We are just at home praying that the virus may be contained sooner than later because majority of runners are suffering at home,” he added.
The Amsterdam marathon winner was part of Olympics marathon team and he was to marshall forces with Olympic marathon champion Eliud Kipchoge, Tokyo marathon bronze medalist Bedan Karoki and reigning world marathon bronze medalist Amos Kipruto.
