Cheruiyot and Jepkemoi top Kakamega Forest marathon

Bernard Cheuiyot and Emily Jepkemoi were the winners of the 6^th edition of Kakamega marathon held yesterday in Shinyalu, Kakamega County.

Cheruiyot won the men’s title in 2:14.08 and was followed by Robert Kimutai in 2:17.07 with Geoffrey Kiboi finishing in third place in a time of 2:17.24

In women, Jepkemoi triumphed in 2:32.57 followed by Rita Jeptoo in in 2:34.47
