Naomi Wafula is the only Kenyan lady to make a cut as safari Tour series teed off today at the Sigona Golf club.
Wafula fired +6 to take the 43rd positions with Paul Chidale taking round one lead ahead of tomorrow’s second round in the 72-hole professional golfing tournament in the match to the 2022 Magical Kenya Open.
The Zambian Chidale fired -4 in the opening round, leading Zimbabwe’s Tarafa Mpofu with a shot with three under par before Mohit Mediratta managed two under par 70 to close the podium ahead of tomorrow’s second round.
