Chinhoi in third Safari tour win in Nyali

Zimbabwe’s Robson Chinhoi won his third Safari Tour title at the par 71 Nyali meeting today with a narrow margin of one stroke.

Chinhoi fend Mumias’ Dismas Indiza and Greg Snow for the title in the 4th and final round with one over par 72 for his third title of the season.

Chinhoi played the final round with great challenge from round one and round three leader Simon Ngige and David Wakhu.

Second placed Indiza played the game with an impressive five under par 66 to finish second with three under par 68 in today’s final round, Greg Snow has largely had a quite round at Nyali.

Chinhoi walked home with Kshs 150,000 while Indiza and Snow pocketed Kshs 90,000 each for occupying the remaining podium places. The tournament had a Kshs 1 million prize purse.

Action moves to Muthaiga next week for the penultimate round of Safari Tour where top eight local players in the Order of Merit will qualify for the Magical Kenya 2021 European Tour tournament to be held at Karen Country Club in March this year. Two slots have been reserved for foreign pros taking part in the Safari Tour.
