Veronica Mbithe has opted out fo the Kenya Team to the Commonwealth Games to be staged in Gold Coast Australia that kicks off on April 4th to 15th.
Mbithe, the Kenyan female boxer will not travel with the team after she was recruited by Kenya Defence Forces (KDF that ruled her out of club Games.
Taking their training in Nakuru, Mbithe was the prospect medal winner in Light Flyweight Division and out of four, Kenya will be represented by three boxers.
As she prepares to join other recruits at Eldoret Recruit Training Service, Mbithe goes to record as the first woman boxer to be recruited by KDF
