Danny Chelogoi in round one lead at Kabete Open in Vetlab

Danny Chelogoi fired one over par 73 to take the lead at the ongoing Kabete Open, the Kenya Amateur Golf Championships at the par 72 Vetlab golf club.

The son of professional golfer Andrew Chelogoi, who was 4^th in round one on Friday today managed to take the lead with five over par 149 adding on his four over in round one ahead of tomorrow’s final round.

It was disappointing for round one leader and defending champion Adel Balala who dropped to 4^th with six over par 150.
