Robert Mbuhua has taken an early lead in day one of the Scrabble Kenya championships in Machakos, the last warm up tournament ahead of Africa Scrabble Championships in Lusaka, Zambia.
Seeded 20, Mbugua won nine out of 11 games to take the early lead ahead of tomorrow’s final round as a top seed Patrick Nderitu Gitonga took the second position with eight wins out of 11 as Muumbi Muema completing the podium.
