Home golfer Danson Kiragu won the Saturday’s Iron’s Challenge golf tournament played at par 73 Nakuru Golf Club.
Handicap 28 golfer started badly with double bogies in the opening two holes par four and a bogey on hole 3 par 4 and registered a par on par three in the opening nine.
He added four double bogies and triple bogey in the first nine and returned in the second with a single par on hole 15 par three with all registering double bogies.
He played three under 70 points net and 98 gross to emerge the best golfer on Saturday evening.
He was followed closely by another home player Dr.M. Malik. Teeing on handicap 12, Malik played one under 72 before Kericho’s D.tanui sealing the podium with one over 74.
