The Directorate of Criminal Investigation (DCI) Volleyball stunned Administration Police of Rwanda (APR) to win the Nyerere international tournament that came to an end on Monday 14th in Arusha, Tanzania.
The Kenyan side edged out APR in straight sets of 25-23, 25-18 and 25:16 to retain the title meant to honour the founding father of Tanzania Mwalimu Julius Nyerere.
The finalists reached the final after edging Jeshi La Kulinda Taifa after winning the title in 2017 to book DCI in the final.
Holders DCI set up APR final after outshining compatriots Hakika in straight (3-0) sets.
The Rwandan side, APR, were the first to seal their final berth, following their solid performance (25-15 25-21 25-11) against home team Jeshi.
