Debutants Eldonets are looking for one win to qualify into the semifinal of the at the men’s Basketball Premier League.
Eldonets will be facing off with Thunder in the second and 3rd round of quarter-final play-offs on Saturday at Nyayo National Stadium gymnasium.
Last Saturday, Eldonets one the opening leg against Thunder 63-53 in Game One played at Uasin Gishu high school court.
Eldonets are one match away from the semi-final in their debut season in the Premier League. Eldonets finished seventh to qualify for the playoffs with 31 points and showed their form with victory against fancied Thunder.
In other matches, Ulinzi Warriors defeated Lakeside Kisumu 80-78 last weekend and Saturday will be crucial for the soldiers. Equity Bank play another debutant in Game One at Nyayo, champion Kenya Ports Authority (KPA) play Strathmore University’s Blades
In the women’s Premier League second leg matches, relegation-threatened USIU-A Flames will walk a tight rope against Strathmore University at 2.30pm. On Sunday, Flames – who are second last on the table standings with 25 points – will again face baptism of fire against Zetech University. USIU-A must win the two matches to evade the chop.
