Equity Bank Hawks, the Equity Bank women basketball team recorded two victories in the ongoing Kenya basketball Federation league.
On Sunday, they beat Eldoret based Eldonets 78-24 adding on their Storms win on Saturday to move to second, third position on the table with 18 points.
Unbeaten Kenya Ports Authority (KPA) are tops with 22. The bankers went off to a 18-4 start and led 39-8 at the break. They moved up 21-7 in the third and 18-9 in the last stanza to win easy.
In the men’s match, KU teams lost 72-61 to KPA as Africa Nazarene University (ANU) beat their hosts Lakeside 53-46.
