Eldonets continued with their superlative performance to edge their hosts Emyba in the Kenya Basketball Division One third play off to be crowned the Kenya Basketball Federation(KBFL) men’s Division One League champions at Nyayo stadium.
With Eldonets hosting KBFL for the first time, defeated Emyba 73-64 in Game Three to win the title 3-0following a 2-0 in the opening matches in Eldoret at Uasin Gishu high school court last weekend.
In the game one on Saturday, Eldonets won 98-89 followed by a 86-85 in game two but all teams had qualified for promotion to next year’s men’s Premier League.
Today,they played 20-19, 20-13, 18-14 and 15-18 to take the title after they eliminated Pirates 3-0 in the semi-final, while Emyba knocked out Terrorists3-1 to set the final tie.
