Eldoret Youth edge St. Josephs

Newly promoted Eldoret Youth recovered from last weekend’s loss to win their first match in the National Super League (NSL) match played at Kericho Green Stadium.

Playing their home match away from home, Anthony Chingwa and Kevin Cheti netted a goal each to secure three points against St. Joseph’s in the 2-0 win.

Last weekend, the Eldoret based team lost 1-3 to Talanta FC at camp Toyoyo but redeemed their winning ways ahead of next weekend’s match. With no home ground, the team will have to play away from home in their home matches.

In other NSL results, Talanta recorded their second win in a 2-1 against Bidco United at the Thika Stadium as well as Kenya Premier league demoted side Wazito,Kenya Police and Shabana.

Teddy Osok scored his lone goal as Wazito edged out Kangemi All-Stars at Camp Toyoyo as Police beat Green Commandos 2-0 with goals from Martin Mutua and Clinton Kinanga as newly promoted side Shabana defeated Nairobi City Stars 1-0 at the Gusii Stadium with a goal from Oscar Oketch.
