The action parked final attended by Eldowas Managing Director Peter Biwott and Mfalme sponsore Evans Cheruiyot, Otieno capitalized on the defense lapse to slot in the opener for a 1-0 lead into break.

Receiving a cross from the left wing, Okasiba’s right foot shot, with two minutes on the second half whistle gave the champions the lead.

Shanguli Kipkorir failed to half the score when his penalty shot was fired wide when Eldowas defender handled the ball into the box.

Biwott said they used the tournament to sensitize the public to be more vigilant and report Illegal water connections and vandalism.

He said people want to steal water which is against human rights. “Let’s not deny others water by illegally connecting pipelines, we urge the public to report such incidents to us,” Said Biwott.

Eldowas coach Lawrence Mwami said the win was well planned, with many doubting how they managed to reach the finals.

“As a coach, I always prepare a team according to the game. I have a tournament team as well as a league team. With this, you can manage to play well in all areas,” said Mwami.
