after Australia set December 11th as the last day to apply for visas that will take about two months.

With world cross country set for February 18th, Iten hosts the last circuit after Machakos, Kapsokwony, Sotik and Ol Kalou meetings with national trials set for 10t

North Rift Athletics Kenya Public Relations officer Boniface Tiren said that all preparations have been finalized because they are expecting a big number of athletes seeking the national trials slot.

“As the last meet in the circuit, we may host over a 1,000 athletes and that needs better preparations and that we have done,” said Tiren.

With many athletes involved in other races across the world, Tiren said those who missed to compete in other races or meetings across the country, will have an opportunity to prove themselves.

“Some athletes have not had a chance to compete in other races and this will be their last chance to get that slot to compete at the national trials. So we expect a tough race with top athletes facing off,” he said.
