Fresh from winning back to back cross country title, Emanuel Kipchirchir will be chasing Kass marathon 21km title set for Sunday 17th November 2019 in Eldoret.
The race, which was introduced this year after disbanding 10km, Kipichirchir will be chasing the inaugural title on Sunday.
Kipchirchir won The 29th edition of The University of Eldoret Cross country title and added the inaugural Bishop Cornelius Korir Memorial Cross country title a week later as part of training ahead of Kass marathon.
“I have much experience in road races than track or cross country. As a I look at today’s results, am shocked that I won yet this was my second cross country in my career but am good on roads,” said Kipchirchir after winning UoE cross country title two weeks ago.
Kipchirchir edged Kimeli for the 29th edition title win in 26:44.7 and 26:56.2 respectively while Robert Kiprop ended the podium in 27:01.2.
