French captain Kylian Mbappe and Ousmane Dembele scored a goal each when former champions France eliminated Morocco from the ongoing FIFA World Cup co-hosted in the USA, Canada and Mexico.
Despite missing a penalty in the first half, Mbappe recovered in the second half to score the opening goal in the 60th minute before Dembele sealed the victory six minutes later at the Boston stadium in Foxborough, USA.
With the win, France became the first nation to qualify into the semifinals
