Both men and women Kenya’s 3×3 Under -23 World Cup team was named on Sunday morning ahead of the championships set for Lublin, Poland.
With the champions set for September 27th, the team will jet out on Monday night for the championships where the Kenya Basketball Federation (KBF) released their names.
KBF chairman Paul Otula named 12 players, six in each category that will represent the country in the five-day championships.
Women side will be coached by Eunice Ouma while Tony Ochieng will handle men team.
Kenya teams qualified by virtue of finishing second in Algiers. The national team is currently ranked second in Africa in this category and they are also silver medalists in Africa Beach Games.
Women team:
Madina Okot, Barbara Diana, Maryanne Nyagaki, Alexandra Adala and MaryLisa Omondi and Ashley Minayo.
Men team:
Denis Koja, Brans Nzioka, Trevour Opiyo, Elisha Odhiambo, Rodney Olang and Bonface Amakutwa will lead the men’s charge.
