Firat recalls Dunga, Otieno in Stars squad ahead of Cranes, Amavubi rematch

Harambee Stars head coach Engin Firat has recalled five former players into the 27-man squad ahead of World Cup Qualifiers against Uganda and Rwanda later this month.

Playing his third match with the Stars, Firat recalled Ismael Dunga who plays for Sagan Tosu in Japan who last played for the national team in 2012, Philemon Otieno from Gor Mahia, Anthony Akumu (Kaizer Chiefs) Erick Johana.

However, he also called newcomers like Wilkins Ochieng and Nairobi City Stars’ Timothy Ouma, Michael Mutinda, Philemon Otieno.

Kenya’s remaining encounters against Uganda in Kampala and Rwanda in Nairobi have now been thinned out to a formality.
