Kenyan Lucy Muli Mawia was the winner for the Cross country de Soria held on Sunday, the third leg of Gold Standard meeting, the World Athletics Cross county Tour held in Soria, Spain.
Muli won the 8km title in 27:22 ahead of Ethiopian Likina Amebew clocked 27:29 as Burundi’s Francine Francine Niyomukunzi finished third registering 28:08
In the men’s category Burundi’s Rodrigue Kwizera took top honours by clocking 28:47 with Ugandan duo of Thomas and Joel Ayieko rounding off the podium positions in 28:54 and 29:01.
