Eldoret golfer Florence Murgor will be leading other ten lady golfers from Eldoret club, seeking to defend her title as Kenya Ladies Open golf championships tees off on par 73 Kitale golf club this weekend.
The two day event that tees off on Saturday will culminate on Sunday afternoon with Murogor promising not to let off the title she won last year after edging out her Ugandan counterpart in the sudden death play-offs after tying on 38 points.
She said she is prepared to retain her title together with her team mates from Eldoret led by vice lady captain Faith Mburu, Gracemary Karira, Diana menya, former chairperson Hellen Yego, Fatuma Some, Diana Chemweno among others.
“Today I had a good training as I plan to defend my title. Am well prepared for the championships,” said Murgor after conducting her last training at Eldoret golf club on Friday evening.
She added that she will be hoping Eldoret team will play well at the championships.
