Western region rivals Kakamega High school and St. Peter’s Mumias have been suspended from this year’s Kenya Secondary Schools Sports Association.
The great giants of football from Kakamega County in the under 19 football teams categories for two-year.
The duo will be joined by Kibabi High School in the under 19.
Former East African Secondary School Champions Sinyolo Girls High School and their counterparts Barding High School were also suspended.
Kisumu County’s Sinyolo Girls was suspended from participating in girls’ hockey after they fielded a player from Kerugoya Girls who had had not met the 90 days rule during last year’s regional games.
Kisii School, Gesero High School and Simbi Secondary have also been suspended.
Kisii High rugby team as well as Simbi and Gesero’s football under 19 teams will also face two-year bans.
Kwale Girls football team from Coast region have also been suspended for two years
