Three time Great Manchester Run champion Hellen Obiri will be facing off with former London marathon champion Vivian Cheruiyot and former Tokyo marathon champion Rosemary Wanjiru at the 2025 edition of Great Manchester Run on Sunday May 18th.
With both Obiri and Cheruiyot failing to recapture the Boston and London marathon titles respectively, they will be battling for honours in the colonial masters’ land.
Obiri won the race in 2019, 2022 and 2023 before losing the title last year while Cheruiyot won the title way back in 2009
