Fortune maintain NSL lead as SS Assad, Heroes and Mwatate win

Leaders Fortune Sacco maintained their top position following their draw with Muhoroni Youth after National Super League (NSL) returned to action over the weekend as Coastal Heroes, SS Assad and Mwatate United were the only winning teams over the weekend.

Heroes, formerly Coast Stima defeated Dandora Love 6-1 at the Mbaraki stadium to move to 9th position on the table while Mwatate beat Murang’a Seal 2-0 at Mwanyumba stadium. SS Assad were 2-0 winners over Mombasa Elite, formerly Modern Coast Rangers 2-0

Sacco were held to a barren draw against Youth but maintained their top position with 28 points, after playing 13 matches.

Administration Police Service of Bomet (APS Bomet), which led to December was relegated to second position with 27 points to remain second following their 2-all draw against former Kenya Premier League side Zoo Kericho who have 20 points in the 7th position.
