Three time Olympic games 100m champion Shelly-Ann Fraser-Pryce and world runner Sha’Carri Richardson will light up the third edition of Kip Keino Classic, a World Athletics Continental Gold Tour set for May 7 at the Nyayo stadium.
The Jamaican Fraser-Pryce will face the American Richardson for the fastest race in Nairobi.
Also confirmed is Olympic 3,000m steeplechase champion Peruth Chemutai who will take on defending champion Celliphine Chespol.
Olympic 1,500m finalist Abel Kipsang will also be in the mix in the 1,500m.
The world indoor 1,500m bronze medalist in Belgrade will have an opportunity to redeem his image back home.
World 5,000m silver medalist Margaret Chelimo Kipkemoi will be in the mix for the title.
As she moves into the 10,000m will be running her competitive race in the 25-lap race ahead of world championships and Commonwealth Games in Oregon and Birmingham respectively.
