Fred Magu took an early lead in day one of Scrabble Kenya National Championships at The Eldoret National Polytechnic.
A member of the World Warriors, the national scrabble team for 2019 WESPAC, won 9 out 10 rounds to take a slim margin with + 519 against second-placed Onani Magwanga.
Fourth Seed Magwanga won 8 out of 10 rounds to accumulate +648 as Willy Mwangi (+442) completed the podium ahead of tomorrow’s final.
