Reigning Africa cross country junior silver medalist Gloria Kite won the 25th edition of Cross Internacional de Soria as reigning world 5,000m champion Edward Zakayo finished second held on Sunday.
The reigning Africa 1,500m silver medalist won the 8km clocking 28:47 ahead of Denmark’s Anna Emilie Moller 28:55 and Spain’s Elena Loyo 29:11 completed the podium.

Uganda’s Jacob Kiplimo out staged race favourite Zakayo, the reigning Africa 5,000m champion to take the men’s title.
Kiplimo who retained te Ugandan title for the third time running clocked 30:11 ahead of Zakayo’s 30:33 and another Ugandan Timothy Toroitich was third in 30:45.
