Daniel Muhoza scored a dramatic extra time goal for Rayon Sports to beat Gor Mahia to win the CECAFA Kakame Cup that concluded today at the Amahoro stadium in Rwanda.
The 97th extra time minute goal sealed the title for Rayon that they had waited for the last 28 years after stalemate in the normal time for 2-1 final score which was heartbreaking Gor that has been waiting for the glory for 41 years.
Rayon scored first in the 28th minute courtesy of Herman Kameni for a 1-0 lead into break and Gor equalized on resumption in the 54th minute to force the match into extra time.
