Champions Gor Mahia, former champion AFC Leopards and Tusker will be in action on Wednesday in the midweek Kenya premier League matches.
Gor will be taking on newcomers Wazito FC who are currently in 10th on the log with 26 points, as they battle to topple Tusker and KCB on top of the table.
Five points behind the Bankers, Gor head into Wednesday’s clash at Thika Municipal Stadium aiming to extend their remarkable winning run.
The defending champions have shipped in only one goal in the last six games in the league with the performance lifting the glamour club to position three on 37 points, five behind KCB on 42 points.
Then leaders Tusker will be taking on relegation bound Western Stima at Ruaraka Grounds. A win for Tusker will reclaim the top spot and propel to 44 points.
The second placed Brewers are one point behind KCB while Leopards, now in 5th position play bottom placed and former champions Mathare United.
Leopards will be chasing a win at the Ruaraka.
In other mid-week matches, 6th placed on 29 points Nairobi City Stars will take on 14th positioned and 17 points Nzoia Sugar at Ruaraka.
Newcomers Bidco face off with league returnees Vihiga United at Thika Stadium with 2009 champions Sofapaka taking on former winners Ulinzi Stars at the Utalii Grounds.
Shaky leaders KCB will battle with Kakamega Homeboyz at Utalii Groinds as Bandari host Kariobangi Sharks at Mbaraki Grounds, Mombasa.
